Transparent and accountable reconstruction starts with an informed public

The EU4Reconstruction (Stream 1) is proud to support Suspilne Ukraine in strengthening its expertise in tracking and covering Ukraine’s reconstruction processes. A training session on this topic was held for teams from regional branches, particularly those operating in frontline and border regions.

The core focus was on working with open data and preparing journalistic materials on the topic of reconstruction. Participants explored tools that enable them to track the implementation of reconstruction projects, analyze public procurement, and verify the use of public funds. Special attention was given to the DREAM digital ecosystem, the Prozorro system, the BRP platform, BBB practicalities in the Ukrainian context and improved accessibility.
